Reward your best clients with discounts, loyalty programs, and promotions to keep them coming back.
Provide a discount in Resurva
If you don't have a connected Lightspeed account (formerly Vend), you can add discounts in Resurva by clicking on the appointment time slot and selecting Discount. Enter the discount type (either a percentage or a set number) and the discount amount, and select Apply. You'll see a discount indicator in the top right corner of the time slot.
You can also add clients to a discount group, which will allow you to provide a discount to every client in the group - this can be a great way to set up a student or senior discount. You can learn more about client groups in this article: Manage client groups.
Note: discounts added in the Resurva dashboard are not applied when a booking is sent to a Lightspeed register as a parked order. Set up a Lightspeed account
To manage discounts, loyalty programs, and promotions, you'll need to connect a Lightspeed account and set up your register. Learn more about managing in-store payments in this article: Accept in-store payments with Lightspeed.
Add a discount at checkout
To add a discount to an appointment, first send the appointment from Resurva to your register as a parked order by clicking the Vend button in the appointment details. Select the parked order on your register, and click or tap Discount in the bottom right.
Select the discount type and amount, and you'll see the discount appear at the bottom of the invoice. The total cost of the appointment is displayed in the Pay button. Click Pay to finalize the sale
Set up a customer loyalty program
To set up a loyalty program in Lightspeed, navigate to Setup > Loyalty, and turn on Enable loyalty. You can then edit the loyalty points value and manage joining bonuses. Read more about loyalty programs in the Lightspeed support center: Lightspeed - Setting up customer loyalty.
Run a promotion
You can create or manage a promotion in Lightspeed by navigating to Catalog > Promotions. To create a new promotion, select Add promotion, and follow the instructions on the page to enter the details of the promotion. Send a promo code
Promotions in Lightspeed can be automatically applied store-wide, or applied to specific products, services, or providers. Promotions can also be exclusive to clients with a promo code, which can be entered by an admin at checkout on the Lightspeed POS.
To increase business, you can share a promo code in an email to your client base, by connecting a Mailchimp account to Resurva. You can read more about sending marketing emails in this article: Send an email to your client list.
Sell gift cards
