If you need to close your bookings for a while, no problem! You can set your widget to offline mode so that clients can't make bookings, and turn it back online when you're ready.
Set your booking widget to online or offline
When you set your booking widget to offline, clients who go to your booking widget will see a message saying "Booking is currently offline", and they won't be able to make any bookings until your widget is set to online again.
In the top right corner of the Resurva dashboard, you'll see a button that's labeled Online or Offline depending on the status of your widget.
If your widget is set to Online, you can set it to offline by clicking the button, then clicking Turn Booking Offline. If your widget is set to Offline, click the button, then click Turn Booking Online.
Please note: setting your booking widget to offline is not the same as cancelling your account, and you'll still be charged for your subscription while your widget is offline. If needed, you can downgrade or cancel your subscription from Settings > Billing > Package.
If you can't get your widget back online
Your widget may have been set to offline automatically if there's been an error with your subscription payment - you can update your billing profile by navigating to Settings > Billing and clicking Update Information in the top right. Learn more here: What to do if your account is offline
Manage your availability and schedules
If you'll be closing your shop temporarily, you can set a last booking date on your widget, so that clients can't make bookings after that date. You could also create a temporary schedule to use a different weekly schedule for a specific amount of time, and after the temporary schedule ends, your schedule would go back to the default. If one of your providers has a change of schedule, you can also manage a specific provider's availability and days off.
Reach out to your clients
If you're taking your booking widget offline, you may want to send an email to your clients to let them know about the change. You can import your client list into Mailchimp to send email newsletters and keep your clients updated. You can display the option to sign up to your mailing list from your booking widget, even if it's offline, so clients can sign up to be notified when you open your bookings again.
