If you take bookings over the phone, you can reserve a time slot and email an invoice link to your client, so they can pay for their booking while you hold their spot.
Set up online payments
To start accepting advanced payments, you first need to set up online payments on Resurva. Check out this guide for more information: Accept online payments.
If you don't have online payments set up, you can still send email invoices to clients through Resurva, by following the steps in this section: Send an email invoice through Resurva.
Reserve a time slot
When taking a booking over the phone, you can create the client's booking as normal by clicking on the requested time slot and adding the client's booking and contact details. After you reserve the time slot, you can send the client their invoice from your Stripe or Square dashboard.
Send an invoice through Stripe or Square

Send an invoice through Resurva
If you don't have online payments set up, you can generate email invoices to send to your clients by going to Settings > App Settings > Client, and setting Manage Invoicing to Enabled. Next, click on the booking time slot you'd like to send an invoice for, and click Actions > Create Invoice.
You'll see the invoice at the top of the list in Client > Invoices, and you can click View to edit and send the invoice. Here, you can add any extra items to the invoice, and a sales tax if necessary, and click Generate Email to view the final invoice. You can then edit the text and paste it into an email to your client.
Send a quote or receipt through Lightspeed
With a connected Lightspeed (formerly Vend) account, you can send quotes and receipts to your clients through your POS device.
To send a quote, add items to an order on the Lightspeed dashboard and add the client profile. Tap More Actions > Create quote, and tap Complete quote to finalize and send the invoice to your client.
To send a receipt, find the order on the Lightspeed dashboard by navigating to Sell > Sales History from the sidebar, find the order, and click it to view more details. Click Email receipt, and confirm the client's email address to send the receipt.
