You can add notes to a booking on your schedule to help your staff keep track of any important details, and make your clients feel more at home.
Enable icons on the schedule
You can enable indicator icons on the schedule to display more info about a client's booking, for example, if this is the client's first booking at your shop, or if they've missed an appointment in the past. To enable these indicator icons, go to Settings > App Settings > Bookings and turn on the checkmark at the bottom for Show indicators for notes, new clients, and client groups.
Add notes to a booking
You can add a note to a booking by clicking the booking time slot and clicking Notes, or by searching for a client from the client list, and clicking Notes under their name. Check out this article for help with searching for a client: Search for a client.
View client notes
View notes by searching for the client in the client list, or by clicking on the client's booking on the schedule, and clicking Notes. Clients with notes will have an envelope icon beside their name, on all of their bookings in your schedule.

Add client notes on Lightspeed
If you have a connected Lightspeed (formerly Vend) account, you can also add notes to a client's profile through your POS device. To add a note on Lightspeed, tap on the customer's name on their order at checkout, click Edit Customer, and add notes in the Details tab.
