When a client books an appointment through your Resurva widget, they'll be automatically added to your client list. You can use this list to get an overview of your clients, send marketing emails, and create groups to provide discounts to your best clients.
View your client list
To view your client list, navigate to Client > Client List. You can sort the client list by name, amount of bookings, or date of last booking, by clicking the Most Bookings button.
Search for a client
You can search for a client by name, email, or phone number, from the search bar at the top of the client list. You can also search for clients from the dashboard, or on a connected Lightspeed (formerly Vend) POS. Learn more about searching for a client in this support article: Search for a client.
Add a client to your list
To manually create an account for a client, and add them to your client list, click New Client in the top right. Enter the client's name and email in the General tab, and any other contact information in the Contact tab.
Enable the checkmark for Send invitation email to send an email invite to the client, which will contain a link for the client to set a password for their account.
Import an existing client list
If you want to add multiple clients from an existing client list, we suggest sending your clients a link to your booking page instead of manually adding them to your list, so that they have the option of signing up with Facebook, Google, or a different email address.
You can learn more about importing and exporting a client list in this support article: Import or export a client list.
Update a client's name or contact details
To edit a client, find the client in your client list and click Edit. To update the client's contact information, go to the Contact tab. Click Save Changes to confirm the update.
Remove or block a client from your list
To remove a client from your list, search for the client in Client > Client List, and click Delete under their name. Removing a client doesn't stop a user from creating a new account with the same email, it will only delete their account.
To block a client from your list and prevent them from creating a new account, find the client in your client list and click Block. Click Unblock to remove the block.
You can learn more about blocking clients in this support article: Block or unblock a client.
Require advanced payment from a client
If you have a client who misses appointments or cancels late, you can require payment from them in advance, while the rest of your clients pay in store. Learn more about requiring advanced payment in this support article: Require advanced payment from a specific client.
Add a client to a discount group
You can offer discounts to your best clients by adding them to client groups, and set different discounts for each group. Check out this support article to learn more about client groups: Manage client discount groups.
Allow bookings from existing clients only
If you want to stop accepting new clients, you can set your bookings to existing clients only, so that only clients on your client list can book appointments. Read more about private bookings in this support article: Accept bookings from existing clients only.
